We are so excited to unveil our recently redesigned website. Sit back, grab a coffee and take a journey through the site...be sure to stop by the Feature Film
section on the main page to view our new movies or drop in to the What's New page to explore our latest projects, products/services
and partners. Oh, and subscribe to our new blog, a resource
of ideas and inspiration to spark extraordinary events.
The University of Pennsylvania held a breathtaking black-tie gala
on their new campus grounds. This momentus event contributed to the Ivy-League University's fundraising
goal of $3.5 billion. Over 100,000 sq ft of tenting was installed, featuring
Regal's trispan structure and glass walls along with a number of clearspan structures and frame tents. Regal is
delighted to have taken home the ISES Esprit Award for Best Industry Innovation for the industry-leading 3D AutoCAD Animation produced for this event
(we hope to share a sneak peak of this technology very soon on our new website).
L'Oreal Fashion
Week's Spring/Summer 2008 show was an acclaimed success. For the first time in its history, the event was
held under a tent in front of Toronto's City Hall. Take a look at the video (click here) featured on The Toronto Star's website hosted by
our very own Steve Billings. In it, he describes how the event was laid out and how the structure was erected.
And, hear what opinion leaders had to say about this event: Toronto Star, Martini
Boys, 680News, Canada.com, Fashion Television
Take a look at how projection can be used to elevate branding and aesthetic theming at your next event. The Festival for the Arts, Boca Raton did just that for their inaugural
event as did Princess Margaret for their $1,000 a plate "Boss
Benefit" event.
In this section, we'll feature a hot new product or service targeted to the events community.
FogScreen...
FogScreen™ projection screen, produces a thin curtain of “dry” fog that
serves as a translucent projection screen, displaying images that literally float in the air.
Take a look at our post on this technology over at our blog.

Dear ,
Welcome to our inaugural newsletter!
2007 is coming to an end and as we look back we can say that it has truly been a fantastic year for Regal Tent Productions.
We've had the pleasure of working on Ralph Lauren's
40th Anniversary fashion show, an incredible black-tie gala for the University of
Pennsylvania, Toronto's L'Oreal Fashion Week's first year in
tents, and the highly anticipated Endurance World Open in
Bermuda...and that's just in the last few months! We're launching our new website and we've been honored with numerous industry awards for innovation and ingenuity.
All of these initiatives have resulted in new products, services and tools that are of value to you and
your clients. So rather than keep this news to ourselves, we've created a quarterly newsletter to keep you posted. We promise that this one
and all that follow will be brimming with relevant information and ideas. So enjoy and feel free to email us with any questions.
Yours truly,
The Regal Team

Ralph Lauren fashion tent, Central Park
|
For the first time in Central Park history, the Conservatory opened its doors to a non-member
event. Ralph Lauren's 40th Anniversary Fashion Show was an acclaimed success.
This event housed the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, Diane Sawyer,
and Martha Stewart to name a few - so, every detail had to be thoughtfully crafted.
Regal's contribution were stunning high peaked tents, soaring to 32 feet in
height, strategically scattered throughout the picturesque grounds. Every single tent pole was powder coated in either a white or black finish
to blend seamlessly into the decor design. Traditional ballasts were replaced by custom, stackable and compact steel plates that measured 25% of
the size of their concrete counterparts. 440 feet of catering tents were designed to visually "disappear" in the dark of night. And up to 28 crew
people worked tirelessly to install the floor and tents in just 24 hours!
Read more about this amazing event on our website in the coming
months.
