Seven Blessing Board
Activities
The Board of Seven
Blessings has been very active participating in Wednesday Night Wags at the Factory in Franklin. The
event was hosted by Happy Tales and brought together several non-profit organizations and entertainment venues. The event brought awareness to
the animal community as well as allowed non-profit organizations like Seven Blessing to get their information out to the community. For Seven
Blessings, it enables us to solicit some more volunteers and we had several people sign up for this newsletter. More importantly, we were able
to communicate our mission and educate people about our organization.
On June 19th, Board Secretary Kim Cook,
hosted a mini-fundraiser in her home by having a Pampered Chef Show. The show was well attended and raised approximately $300 for Seven
Blessings. Pampered Chef supports not-for-profit fundraisers by donating 15% of the shows total to the designated organization. Veteran
Pampered Chef Sales Director Donna Asta did the show for Seven Blessings. We appreciate all those that ordered on-line and attended the
show!!
Also on the horizon for Seven Blessing Board is a
strategic planning seminar. Ellen Bryson of Bryson Trails Consulting has agreed to coach this seminar. She is a certified, licensee
of the CEO Advantage and is trained to work with CEO’s and executive teams of organizations with annual revenues up to $200 million.
Ellen helps companies translate their vision into execution and results. She has 25 years experience in leading and managing several
organizations, both established and start-up.
