A Sea Container in Sylacauga
It's a wild time in our home in Sylacauga, AL these days since on July 6th there
will be a sea container shipped from the Home Depot parking lot in route to Ghana
with our belongings from our home, supplies and equipment. God is our strength
and our joy as we are full of hope and encouraged by all He is doing as we venture
into the unknown in His service.
It's an exciting time, yet sometimes a bit confusing to Lucas as he sees his
toys getting packed up. It's good to rest in Proverbs 16:9, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." On Monday we got to present the vision to the management team at Coosa Valley
Medical Center in Sylacauga and Tuesday we will be at The Church at Brook Hills
in Birmingham, on Wednesday at The Mission Society for a meeting of all those
serving in Ghana that are in the U.S. right now, then back to have a weekend of
buying and packing for the containers shipment on Wednesday afternoon.
Pray for our peace we ask. You see on the side that we have recommended and included
a link for purchase of a book that has impacted our lives titled 'Forever Ruined
for the Ordinary'. It's during challenging times that we can rest that we are
forever ruined for the ordinary things of life and called to be world-changers,
called to make a huge difference in our sphere of impact. Will you rise to the
challenge with us and see that the circle of influence that you can change will
be brought toward God?
Loving Him and making Him known, living in overwhelming joy and peace is certainly
possible in the middle of unknowns and situations that seem huge to us. We write
today to encourage you in your faith, to bless you and to ask for your continued
prayers and if God leads you, your financial support.

Lucas and Luiza
At 3 years old and 3 months old they are sure enjoying each others company.
What a joy they are in our lives. They are missionaries to share this joy of
Jesus in Ghana. Pray for them for peace, adaptibility, good health, and language
learning.

Partners Needed
Together we can make a huge difference in transformational development in Ghana
serving the Lord. It's through partnership, working alongside one another sharing
in resources, joys, prayers, sorrows and victory, that we can be the hands of
Christ those around us. Creating hope, sharing Christ. We need a few more people
who are willing to commit to either monthly, quarterly or annual giving for our
anticipated budget to be met. In addition, about $10,000 is needed now to complete
the funding for a 4x4, will you send in a contribution designated 'Jernigan Vehicle
Fund'?

Goodbyes
It's almost that time that we say our final goodbyes. On July 31st at Sylacauga First United Methodist Church, our home church, we will be sent
off and on the 3rd of August we fly from the Birmingham International Airport. The next month
is a time for saying goodbye. We ask for your prayers as it seems it will be 1
1/2 to 2 years before we will be home for a break (furlough). The sacrifice we are
making is nothing since Jesus gave up everything for us. May we each look at life
as worth giving up everything in order to see our children serving Him, our neighbors,
our church completely sold out for Jesus, all-out selfless, completely giving,
and mission-centered for our communities and our world. Let's pray for revival,
strive to take care of our souls, and pray for each other.
Thank you for praying for us and we ask you to continue to do us in these days
ahead.
Your friends,
Andrew & Juliana
