I want to share a personal "Thank You" to all the consultants who invested their time and resources to come to convention. It was truly astounding, awesome, incredible, inspiring, motivating, empowering... There just are not enough adjectives to describe each of you.

 

Now that we are all back home in our private Tomboy World,

 Doesn't it seem much bigger? 

Doesn't it seem much brighter?

I still feel surrounded by you.

The warm memories of each of you are very rich and still very real.

 

There were many wonderful discussions. Some in groups, some privately, but each profound as you shared your passion and your struggles.

 

There was a unique, unifying, underlying motivation in each person to move beyond their struggle through a resounding commitment to

Our vision "to empower women".

 

Two life changing moments.

 

The most pronounced came after the awards night.  The Wild West earned first place in over all sales.  It was electrifying as they all stood up and cheered. In fact, we all stood up to celebrate their accomplishment. It was what happened afterward that moved me to tears. And still does.

 

Several of those Wild West Tomboys shared a goal of selling $500,000 by next convention. So we did the math in terms of how many newly empowered women that number represented. We rounded it up to $600,000 so we could divide it easily by our individual sale of $60.

 

We were all stunned by this astounding discovery.

When the Wild West reaches this goal,

they will have empowered 10,000 women in one year.

We could not hold back the tears.

10,000 women whose lives will be changed forever,

because they met a Tomboy!

 

The other profound moment came during and after our Go Party session. It was overwhelming to see the number of consultants committed to ignite their business and to do what ever it took to reach the women who need to know about us.  They chose to challenge personal gremlins, the ones that show up, buzzin' around your head with all their convincing reasons why you cannot be successful, then paralyze you with fear.  (Ask some of the Tomboys about our squirt gun strategy!)

 

Each committed to no longer look at $500 in 90 days as "activity". In fact, we all agreed to call that, "Minimum Maintenance".  They took it a step farther. They committed to doing 4 parties a month.

 

4 parties a month x 8 attendees x 12 months

x all the ignited Tomboys =

A Nation of empowered women who will NEVER be the same!!!

WOW! WE CAN DO THAT!

 

They did not stop there. There are several consultants who want to help develop their areas by becoming Local Leaders. They wanted to accelerate their career path to leadership.

 

They committed to doing 6 parties a month and

to have teams of 8 - 12 active consultants doing 4 parties a month.

 So that next year there will be many joining Jo and Jody.

My calculator did not have enough places to calculate how many women we will have touched by next year!

 It is astronomical!

 and this didn't even include our Komen initiative!

 

I am humbled by this unsolicited commitment. I am very much in awe of all of you.

 

           

We will be together in our National Calls more frequently.
