Gainey Ceramics
aloha hi

Aloha!  Unfortunately we're not really in Hawaii, we just wish we were.  We thought it went

with the beginning of the unofficial vacation season.  We tried to implement a hula contest,

but we didn't have enough volunteers...go figure!

We are glad you liked our first newsletter and hope to continue the positive feedback.

Don't be shy, we love getting emails from you (even when it's telling us we need to do

something better).  We want this to be a tool for you to not only receive company communications but

to generate ideas and information to you and from you.  That's a big order for a small newsletter, but we are optimistic!

Right now we're sending all of you all the information we have.  We'd like to know if you're prefer to get just the information that is related to you or if you're happy hearing about all the Gainey news?

If you'd please click on your preference below, we would greatly appreciate it - we'll even do a

company-wide wave in your honor!  Mahalo (that means "thank you" and yes, we're going to milk this Hawaii thing as much as possible).

The crew at Gainey Ceramics

clara

Meet the crew:  Clara Marin    ***CSR Extraordinaire***

Clara has been with Gainey for about 1 1/2 years.  To know her is to like her...a lot!  One of the hardest workers here, she has a personal goal to finish every day with a "perfect score" of customer satisfaction.  Away from work she enjoys dancing salsa and spending time outdoors with her family.  If she could have a superpower it would be to be invisible (what sort of mischief is she envisioning??).  She enjoys musicals, different types of music and teaching others to dance.  She is lucky that she has visited many places, but New York is her favorite.  So the next time you talk to Clara, you'll have a bit more knowledge about who is helping you.  You can even discuss your superpower wish!

Loft Collection: The Heights & Chelsea

TILE:

We went, we showed, we excelled!  Our new Loft Collection was a huge hit and besides confirming that our customers have good taste, it told us that you welcome our expansion and broader offerings.  You don't want to pigeonhole us (that's a relief) into just being "the hand crafted tile people."  The Loft Collection is our contemporary line that works equally well in commercial applications or residential.  We are working on an addendum to the tile catalog, for this line and will be sending that soon.  Meantime take a look at the pictures from the booth.

Effective July 15, we will have new prices on our tile.  This will give you some time to purchase anything you need prior to that at the old price; the cutoff is June 20th for orders at the old price.  Some changes to the pricing format:  everything is at the same level -- no stock vs. special order, so you will actually see a savings on items that were traditionally special order.  The 5% surcharge has been folded into the price and it's a minimal increase...the first in two years.

GFRC containers

CONTAINERS:

What do you get when you use glass fibers to reinforce concrete?  GFRC containers!  That's Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete for the un-initiated and it's super-strong but beautiful (kind of like those superheroes  but without tights). Lighter than plain concrete, it is made for outdoor use and will withstand the elements of mother nature.  There are 10 standard colors, but if you want to feel like a VIP (and we welcome that) we are happy to make a custom color to call your own.  Ask your account executive for more information or view the GFRC web page.

Have you seen our new container ads?  We have the Interiorscape ad and the Nursery Retailer ad.We are proud to still be in the industry almost 60 years after the company was created.  Look for more products from Gainey in the near future.

aloha bye

Aloha! Isn't it the coolest thing that you can say hello & good-bye with one word?  It's the little things in life that make it fun.  Feel free to let us know your thoughts...we hope you'll soon anticipate these with a slight feeling of giddiness.

If you have suggestions for future topics (trade shows shmade shmows - what do you think about cookie recipes?  FAQ of the Month?) please send an email to Lisa Lovell (link below) our fearless marketing manager.  Make sure you include us in your safe list or address book to continue receiving our little gems!

Now for the small print that makes the lawyers happy:  You receive this because you're our cherished customer; we will never sell your email.  Ever.  If, after long consideration, you don't want to get our lovely emails in the future, you can simply opt out using the link below.  We hope you don't, but we won't hold a grudge if you do. This is an automated mailing.  Responding to this email will result in an error.  Please direct any questions or comments to Ms. Lovell, who will personally read every one of them and respond.  Promise.
