Sign-Up Continues for Fall 2008
The beginning of a semester can be a hectic time. Students are still getting used to
their new classes and new schedule. Deciding where they are living next year may be the last thing on their minds. There are still single and
double rooms available for fall, however, so students need not worry. Students can even wait until the end of the semester before they decide where
they will be living; however choices may be limited. For more information on the sign-up process, please visit www.uh.msu.edu/campus/sign_up.html.
Spring Break
Info
The bitter cold can make everyone yearn for time off. Luckily, spring break is just around the
corner. Saturday, March 1, marks the first official day of spring break. Many lucky students will be leaving the cold campus to go on
vacation, while other students may simply go home for some much needed relaxation. However, these are not the only spring break
options. All residence halls remain open during spring break, and students have the option of staying on campus for the entire week. Dining
services will operate at reduced hours.
Summer Youth Camps & Activities
Our campus is not only for current MSU students. We also offer summer programs perfect for
college-bound students. If you are a parent with a younger child looking to plan some fun summer activities, check out www.tour.msu.edu/. The site will help you plan a visit to our beautiful campus
and help young people get a sneak peek at college life, as well as providing information on the Spartan Youth Program, which offers many exciting
opportunities and activities for K-12 individuals. There are numerous programs available, focusing on topics including leadership training,
sports, academics, artwork, and much more.
