Within the human
spirit comes the need to make a difference.
When we are making
an impact in the world around us, we are fulfilling a basic need and actually enhancing our lives in a big way. When I talk about “the
world around us,” I am not speaking about global impact, rather, what happens within your own community.
Each week, I am
reminded of the spirit of our independent Tomboy Tools Consultants and what their purpose is for joining our team. The vast majority of our
Consultants are driven by the opportunity before them to make a positive difference in the lives of those they come in contact with. That is
what’s so great about our team of Consultants. They are out there making an impact. You may ask, ‘How does teaching a person to
use tools make a difference?’ It goes well beyond the actual teaching. The opportunity we provide women is so much more than learning to fix a
leaky faucet. It’s what learning to fix that faucet leads to. Learning something new and realizing you are very capable of
something you might have viewed as “too difficult” is a great feeling. It opens up other possibilities and can eliminate other
preconceptions that might be limiting you.
Our company’s mission statement is something we read each day when we enter the
office:
“To build confidence and empower women through education, quality tools and an independent business
opportunity.”
