WOW.... IS JUST NOT A BIG ENOUGH WORD

To describe all that is going on with our fabulous company.

We are smashing records, gaining recognition, and our consultants are in more homes than ever! This means we are helping women enter the exciting world of tools

and with that, we bring her all the joy and fulfillment our vision has to offer!

Consultants all over the country are "out there" helping women conquer their fears. When you read the sales dollars...translate that number into the number contacts these consultants made. Every drill sold, every hammer... means someone has just taken hold of our vision!

Our compressor sales jumped almost 125% in March. That means a huge number women have not only entered the world of tools, but are also no longer afraid of power tools! Think of the possibilities open to them now!! And you can bet they will excitedly show their friends these new possibilities too... this is all due to our consultants out there scheduling parties to help create a safe and friendly learning environment.

This goes sooo far beyond "booking" parties.  We are looking to create fun, safe environment in which a hostess partners with us to communicate our vision.

If you look at your business as simply trying "get" someone to a book party -
oops... you could be missing the main point.

Here is a simple fact: when we visited Portland Oregon, the Regional Trainer, Jo Jorgensen did a simple search of the census. She discovered that there are about 50,000 homeowners per consultant in the three county area surrounding Portland. We discovered with our current consultants doing a normal business it will take 14 years to reach all those homeowners.

We know that in 65% of these homes, there is a woman who either does the repair

or deals with the contractor because she thought she could not do it.

waiting for us to rescue them
They need us!

If you think there is not enough opportunity, I'd like to encourage you to do the same for your area. This exercise will help broaden your horizon too.

If you are not having the success you would like, it could simply be you are having trouble communicating our vision so that it is of value to your hearer. We have set up an enormous effort in May to help everyone benefit from partnership with us. Whether brand new, current, inactive or retired, we will all be working together to learn the successful steps to Building a Healthy Business. By the end of this month, we will all have made a difference and begin a new phase for Tomboy Tools, USA!

An article in our community (Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota) feminist press featuring Tomboy Tools was given to me by a friend with the words, "this is SO you!".  I have been working with victims of domestic and sexual violence for 20 years.  My mission has always been to empower women, but I was getting a little weary dealing with all the horrible things that happen to women perpetrated by the people who purport to love them.  I was looking for another way that both met my mission and balanced the negative with positive.  I also needed an opportunity to wean myself from the "golden handcuffs" of a County salary.  Voila'! here was Tomboy Tools!!  I went to convention in 2005, met Janet, Mary and Shannon and loved how they operated as a company and knew I had hitched my wagon to a star.  I became Territory Trainer and am building a team to grow an empowerment tree: each branch growing more branches.
