Provider Turns to Rock-Pond Solutions For "Go Live" support

Seems there a lot of home infusion companies converting to new software these days.  The decision to re-key data or use a conversion program is one of the major decisions made during this process. 

 

To supplement the data that their vendor was able to convert, a home infusion provider turned to Rock-Pond Solutions to assist them in keeping the new system they were setting up in synch with the old system they were using.  The week prior to "go live" they did a back up and started finalizing all patients, prescriptions, authorizations, etc. into the new system.  Rock-Pond Solutions provided up to the minute information about drugs that were entered into the old system but not in the new system, patient information that had changed in the old system after the patient was entered into the new system, location of equipment at the time of conversion, etc.  The answer to whether you will re-enter data or convert it automatically is probably yes and yes.  Rock-Pond Solutions can help you minimize errors and ease the stress level of your staff during this critical time.

Active Patients with Missing NPI Numbers

The days when you can bill without a Physician NPI number are quickly coming to an end (See Roger Klotz's article in the Partner Connections below).  Software vendors have added this new number to the physician table of your system and you should be in the process of requesting these numbers and loading them.  This report tracks the physicians who have active, hold or pending patients on your census whose NPI number you have not entered.  It provides the phone number and contact for quick follow up and is sorted in descending order by the number of active patients to quickly prioritize the physicians that need to be called first.

Mail-merge Report to Request NPI numbers from Physicians
