Educational Testing: What It Is and
What It Means To Your Child" Nov. 16
Special Kids, Special Families is hosting neuropsychologist Dr.
Warren Rosen, who will discuss "Educational Testing: What It Is and
What It Means To Your Child" on Thursday, November 16, 2006.
The variety of different tests children receive to determine whether
or not there is a learning issue or other challenge as well as understanding what these test results mean can be baffling to
parents.
Dr. Rosen, who is an assistant professor in the Departments
of Psychology and Pediatrics at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke' s Medical
Center in Skokie, will discuss how educational, psychological, and neuropsychological tests are alike and different, what conclusions
can be drawn from each type of test, and how these test results can
be used to help your child.
There will be a handout for this presentation. To save printing costs, we hope to send out as many copies of the handout as possible to
attendees by email. Please contact Marilyn Green-Rebnord at drebnord@comcast.net if you would like a copy of the handout.
