Last year we lost White Oak Lodge to a fire.  The construction is about to begin on the NEW White Oak Lodge.  This new lodge will have four master bedrooms each with a master bathroom, a large kitchen and large living room.

VOLUNTEER MOMENTS

Over the last month two volunteer groups came to Jenness Park to prepare to begin working on the New White Oak Lodge.  20 Men and Women with Campers on Mission came to serve at Jenness Park.  They built "White Acorn" (tool shed for the construction of White Oak), prepared decorations for the Hispanic Ladies Retreats and started the remodel of Family Cabin #3.  After the Campers on Mission pulled out, a group from Beaumont CA came and continued the work on Family Cabin #3 and painted some buildings!  It is so great to have partnerships with churches and groups, it allows so much ministry to be done.

STAFF MOMENTS
Ecclesiastes 3 says "There is a time for everything".  It is time to say "Thank you" to Duane Wehunt, he has decided to retire after 14 years of service.  Not to worry . . . Ginger is still here!  Duane has served invaluably over the last 14 years in the maintenance department and will be missed greatly.  If you are interested in serving at Jenness Park in the Maintenance Department contact Rod Goodmon at (800) 258-7554 ext 110 or email him at rod@jennesspark.com.

It is also time to say "Welcome" to Brian Fredrickson as the New Food Service Coordinator and Ted Jones as the Marketing Coordinator.  Brian joined the team in June and Ted began work in May.  Read more about the staff here.
