Johanna Moretto, Metro Vancouver (BC), leads participants on a tour of the Annacis Island WWTP Demonstration Garden where they used their Class A Nutrifor Landscaping Soil.

 


Andrew Tucker, Resort Municipality of Whistler (BC), gets a first hand look at the product blend process (left), while other attendees test out the finished product (right). Three biosolids blends were tested as a growing medium and leachate treatment at Ecowaste Landfill.
Mike Van Ham, SYLVIS, provides an overview of the landfill treatment site where poplar trees were established as a vegetative cover (above).  Nick Pilfold, SYLVIS, digs soil samples to share with attendees among the various trial sites (right).
