Holy Walls
Beloved’s Ann Calandro sent Fr. Derek & Miss Clifford this poem as a Christmas present. We hope it will bless you as
much as it has blessed us.
Set aside
As beloved
Called we know not why
Each week we join
As families do
Building our church
from nothingness
To joyful reality.
In faith, with love.
He says!
Wait boldly. Pray. Listen.
Trust—and we do.
Obediently for only He knows
when.
He plants us here.
We seek His word.
Our Sundays wrapped in holy walls of
outstretched arms
Invisibly hugging us as
one.
In peaceful embrace.
Jeremiah 24:6-7
I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will bring
them back to this land. I will build them up, and not tear them down; I will plant
them, and not pluck them up. I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord;
and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their
whole heart.
Around
Beloved…Finish the holiday season with this Sunday’s festive
Epiphany Pageant and celebration for all ages. Clear your house of cookies and candies and
bring them to Hospitality Time following the Epiphany Pageant. If you have no leftovers, bake a couple of dozen
and bring them to church so all our beloved sheep, shepherds, and angels have a sweet treat!
Beloved eNews publishes each Thursday. News and calendar information should be submitted via email by Monday.
