Mamaguroove rock the Wells Community Hall.

Happy New Year!

Everyone that came out to ring in the New Year in Wells will know that it was a great success!  About 400 people were in attendance dancing the night away and having a blast!  Mamaguroove was in full swing and put on an amazingly energetic show.

Island Mountain Arts and the Wells Historical Society would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the hardworking organizers and volunteers, all those who brought a dish for the potluck and everyone that was there to help us celebrate the New Year!  We couldn't have done it without you!

IMA Annual General Meeting
Results

On Sunday, December 31, Island Mountain Arts held it's Annual General Meeting at the IMA Public Gallery.  President Dennis Bogle was very enthusiastic about the upcoming year at Island Mountain Arts and had this to say in his report:  "This past year has been truly an amazing year for IMA. Several years ago we had discussions about getting IMA on the cutting edge again; making sure we were relevant; and making sure we were providing artistic and cultural experiences that people were seeking. I believe that this last year has shown that we are on the cutting edge, we are relevant and we are providing artistic and cultural experiences that people want.  I believe that we have been able to do this because of us. It is the people of IMA that have made IMA, and that will continue to make IMA...I would like to thank you for your continued support and involvement in IMA."

There was a good turnout and the new Board of Directors was voted in.  We are very pleased to introduce IMA's 2007 Board:  Dawn Almond, Dennis Bogle, Judy Campbell, Paul Crawford, Bert deVink and Marilyn Rummel.
