THIS WEEK
TUESDAY VOLLEYBALL
Every Tuesday
Come out to a weekly pick-up game of volleyball at Centennial park's
sandcourts every tuesday night from 6-10pm. We will have two courts set
up, one for beginners and one for more experienced. Come out anytime
and the evening and just jump in and play. This is a great place to
meet Team Greeners and have a great time!
ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLINIC
Wednesday, May 16 5-7:30pm
Team Green has joined with Nashville Ultimate Machine (NUM) for a
beginner ultimate frisbee workshop. Come learn all about Ultimate
Frisbee: It's sport that's a little bit like soccer, a little bit like
football and a whole lot different from anything else you've ever
played. Be prepared to run, throw, catch the disc and learn the rules
and lingo of one of the fastest growing sports on college and high
school campuses.
Free event; open to the pubic. Meet at Elmington Park off of West End, near 440 overpass.
TOUR DE NASH
Saturday, May 19th
The 4th annual
Tour de Nash will take place on Saturday, May 19th at the Titans
Stadium. This
year's event will feature new destinations and greenways. Join us for
a FREE 2 or 4-mile walking tour, a FREE 7 or 12-mile Family bike ride,
or
choose from a longer bike tour of 25, 50 or 62-miles that will
highlight the many bikeways of Nashville. We NEED VOLUNTEERS too! To

ELEPHANT SANCTUARY VOLUNTEER
DAY
Saturday, May 19
Join us to volunteer at one of the only Elephant Sanctuaries in the country, right here in
Tennessee. The Elephant Sanctuary is the nation's
largest natural habitat refuge developed specifically for endangered
African and Asian elephants. It operates on 2,700 acres in Hohenwald- 85 miles southwest of Nashville.
Give back to these needy elephants. To volunteer, email Team Green. Limited to 15
people.
Saturday, May 19
Climb Nashville, Tennessee's premier indoor rock
climbing facility, is celebrating its Dollar-A-Day membership sale with
a full slate of activities at its Sylvan Park location from 8am to 3pm. Enjoy cut-rate membership

Join Team Green for a fantastic skydiving price of only $139 Members/
$150 Non-Members on June 2nd, that is $60 off the normal rate with Tennessee
Skydive! If you have ever wanted to skydive but just did not want to do it on
your own OR you didn't want to cough up close to $200 to jump from a
perfectly good plane, then this is your chance to fly with a supportive
group of folks for such a great deal.
