Take a Load Off
If your student is
bringing home dirty laundry on their weekend visits, remind them that they can use their Spartan Cash in residence hall laundry rooms.
If the color sorting and choice of water temperature is a bit overwhelming for your student, the on-campus laundromat in Cherry Lane (at the
corner of Wilson & Harrison Roads) provides drop-off laundry service for only seventy-five cents per pound. There is on-site parking for those with a
car, and a bus stop nearby. When they come to pick up their laundry, it's not only clean, but also neatly folded. We cannot
guarantee it will make it into the dresser, but we know students have their own pile system and method for knowing what's clean and
what's dirty. Becky from Automatic Apartment Laundries will even put the clothes on hangers if the student provides them at drop-off.
Drop-off hours are
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Alternatively, Becky will provide a little one-on-one laundry session if your student wants to do their own
laundry in the Cherry Lane Laundromat.
