Join Us for the Volunteer Event of the Season!

Ready to get outside and do some good after the long, cold winter? Join BwB for the 2008 Spring Large-Scale Service Project! Spend Saturday, April 26, with students from all 21 of Building with Books after-school programs as we clear invasive species from forest preserves throughout Chicago.

We need adult volunteers to help serve lunch, as well as cut down destructive Buckthorn from local forests. Gym shoes and long pants are encouraged. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Contact Jason at 847-772-8847 or jkeith@mesirowfinancial.com for more information and to sign up!

We are looking for five volunteers to take a leadership role at the event. Contact Carrie at 312-441-7878 or cpena@bwbus.org for more information.
