  Youth Art Show and Reception

 

In participation with the 2008 DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival, Recycle-A-Bicycle is proud to host its second annual recycled bike art show and reception, featuring various pieces made by NYC youth.  All art work either incorporates recycled bike parts or is inspired by bicycling.  Works include sculpture, painting and tapestry.  This show is curated by the artist, Pasqualina Azzarello, in conjunction with Recycle-A-Bicycle.

When:              Friday, September 26, 7-10pm

Free art workshop for kids

 

When:  Saturday, 9/27, 2-4pm, across the street from our DUMBO store.  
What:   Come see how you can make beautiful paintings with- bicycle wheels!
Note:   This activity is free of charge and it will be held in dry weather only.
 



Bicycle Paintings

 

Taliah Lempert is an artist with a passion for painting bicycles, she has built a unique body of work. On Saturday 9/27 from 12-3pm and Sunday 9/28 from 12-7pm she'll be in front of our DUMBO store with small paintings, prints, cards, t-shirts and coloring books all featuring the noblest invention.
