Report Cards and Achievement Tests to be Mailed

Final report cards and Stanford Achievement Test reports will be mailed on Tuesday, June 5, 2007.  Records will not be mailed if there is an outstanding balance on a student’s account.

Achievement tests are an important indicator of student progress.  The report can be confusing, however.  Parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their child’s teacher or with Mr. Slater for a thorough explanation of the Stanford Achievement Test.  You may schedule an appointment by calling the school office.

$300,000 Campus Improvement Approved for this Summer

On Sunday evening, May 27th, the members of Bible Baptist Church voted to invest $300,000 for several improvements to be completed this summer.  This commitment continues the long-standing interest of the congregation to provide a quality, Christian school for our community.  The church and school have further assets available for future growth, development, and relocation.  It is important for us to continue to make improvements to our current facilities for the immediate benefit of our students.

Work is scheduled to begin in three to four weeks on a new gym roof (and ceiling), a 1 ½ acre play area, landscaping, a new sign, parking lot pavement, and a new finish on the exterior of the gym building.

Over $6,000 has been given for new playground equipment.  A total of $15,000 is needed to install the equipment this summer.  If you would like to give to this project you can contact Mr. Slater through the school office.
