EPA released a new resource guide, A
Business Guide to U.S. EPA Climate Partnership Programs. The guide aims to rigorously evaluate, from a corporate managers'
perspective, the environmental and business benefits of participating in voluntary government climate programs.
The resource guide shows how participating
businesses that have invested in climate-friendly technologies save money, receive recognition for their efforts, and how they are getting out in
front of potential climate legislation. Participating companies who are addressing climate impacts in their own operations drive waste out of
their manufacturing, transport, and delivery functions. They also carve out a share of the market in more efficient, cleaner
products and services.
The EPA Partnership Programs profiled in
the resource guide also offer technical assistance, financial and environmental analysis tools, training, seminars, networking, guidebooks and
environmental performance benchmarking. For copies of this guide and for more
information about EPA Partnership Programs, visit: http://www.epa.gov/partners.
