HOW DOES MET PAY FOR FUTURE TUITION?
The Bureau of Investments at the Michigan Department of Treasury invests the money paid by MET purchasers and uses the investment earnings to pay MET beneficiaries' tuition costs and mandatory fees. Currently those funds are invested in equities (up to 70%) and bonds. More MET FAQs
