New Designs for Spring

Last month at the Buyer's Market of American Craft in Philadelphia I debuted several new designs, which were very well received (a sneak peek of just a few are shown at left). The two areas that I expanded the most were my Twisted Rings series, which I've started to mix with wireballs to contrast the open and closed circular shapes. This creates a nice crossover between my delicate designs and bolder waterfall series.

The other series that was very well received is my Riverstones group. The riverstone bangle was a great success last year, and now there are several earring and necklace designs to complement the bracelet, as well as some new ring designs!

2008 Prices + Catalog

My 2008 prices went into effect on February 14, 2008. If you would like an advance copy of my price list, send an email to info@kathyfrey.com and we will get a PDF out to you right away. Otherwise our price sheets will mail when the 2008 catalog is ready to ship later this month. 

New Wholesale Shows

As many of you may know, the Baltimore Craft Show (alternative show to ACC) did not happen this year. What a bummer! I was counting on that show as I really enjoyed my first-time experience there last year and made some great contacts.

If I normally see you in Baltimore, I will be following up with you in the next couple of weeks since we missed each other there. 

This year I will be venturing to a new show, ACRE Las Vegas. I'd love to see you there in April, and it's a great opportunity to see my new designs in person. 

I am also applying to the New York International Gift show and will keep you posted as to my attendance. For now definitely expect to see me in Philly at the BMAC again in August.

As part of my participation in ACRE, I now have a presence on wholesalecrafts.com. Currently I have a few groupings of my work online, and I'm working to get more pieces up each week. You can place wholesale orders through this site, and all prices are accurate for my current price sheet.

The New Kathyfrey.com

For the past year I have been working to revamp my existing website to include more information about me, my work, press clippings, FAQs, and my studio in general. It will be a good resource for you, and the links to my stores and galleries are a major part of the website. The re-design is in the final stages, with the online retail portion being the last hurdle. I will let you know when the launch happens, which should be later this month.
