STREAMLINE VACATION

My therapist says I need a vacation, so Streamline Financial Services will be closed from Monday, July 30th through August 3rd for our summer vacation. Unfortunately, cell phone and email reception is questionable where we are staying. If you have questions, please do email me or leave a message. Trust me, we're in the other half. Thank you for allowing us to take some time off; we'll be back the following week to handle anything that you need from us.

ARE YOU SINKING OR SWIMMING?

I don't know if you knew this or not, but Murphy and I were both college swimmers (OK, she was a better swimmer than I was). So, we prefer to think of ourselves as "swimmers" vs "sinkers".

We have the lifeguard's view of people's finances--some are flailing about needing rescue, and others are skimming across the water just fine.

Check out this article on the personal savings rate. Pay special attention to the second-to last paragraph, which asks how YOU are doing with your personal savings rate. I'm happy to say that our clients are beating the national average in putting away money for the future. So, don't "sink" up your financial future!
