From Feb. 1 through March 2, state employees in Lane County and across the state are raising food and funds for hunger relief. Project Gives Help and Hope to Homeless

Tom Kasik got a haircut. Tom Peron received a flu shot. Sherry Sparks picked up flea medicine and vouchers to have her cats, Molly and Socks, spayed and neutered. Daniel Maynard received tax help. At every turn, the more than 1,000 homeless and low-income men, women and children who turned out for Project Homeless Connect received vital services they needed, all in one day, all in one place.
