SHORT AND SWEET
This week's newsletter is short and sweet, due to the fact that our Marketing Manager is in Palo Alto attending the Stanford Professional Publishing Course (hooray for her).

There are many publishing representatives in attendance from around the world so it is a great networking event and Kane/Miller will have many new ideas and plans to implement which will affect - positively - all Kane/Miller readers.

MOTHERREADER SHARES QUOTE FROM OBAMA

MotherReader (aka Pam Coughlan) attended an event where Barack Obama was asked about what advice he would give to young writers.

His answer is one that should be passed along to parents, educators, employers and pretty much anyone interested in the future of our young people.

JUDGING A PERSON BY THE BOOKS THEY COVET

In an online article about the UK site BookRabbit, Daily Bedpost has this to say:

"You may not be able to judge a book by its cover,

but you can certainly judge a person by the books they covet."

Warning: Daily Bedpost is a site which covers articles, information and book reviews that deal with sex.

BEDTIME STORIES
PW's ShelfTalker mentions read-aloud bedtime stories that are not causing the reaction that - I assume - was anticipated.

Kane/Miller has bedtime stories that are short, sweet and seriously un-sexy.
