Leadership GEAR UP at Cispus and Chewelah Peak Learning Center Plan A
Retreat or WorkshopToday In the
spring of 2008, Washington Student Leadership served seven of the 37 schools in Washington with GEAR UP grants. A successful match was experienced
between the Washington Student Leadership curriculum and the GEAR UP program. In addition, AWSP’s Cispus and Chewelah Peak learning centers and
their challenge course facilities were incorporated into some of the GEAR UP programs. To better serve all of the GEAR UP grant schools, Washington
Student Leadership has developed three program offerings. Each program is based around the cornerstone concepts of know yourself, know your options
and know how to work with others. More information
