Alexian
Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, Illinois is pleased to be the first
hospital in the nation to receive the status of Disease Specific Certification through the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO).
The hospital was awarded this distinction in four areas: Depression, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders, and Self-Injury. This
value-added certification is given as a result of utilizing the latest evidenced-based protocols for each of these disorders. This means that
