Will adoptions end in Ecuador? No matter how well it is run, no orphanage can compete with a
good family. That is why one of OSSO’s priorities is trying to help find permanent loving families for the children we serve. However, unless
something changes, international adoptions from Ecuador may end. Hopefully not. Read more
OSSO’s Little Ones
show great progress
On November 16, 2007 we were finally able to move our 11 little ones to their new home. We
moved all the things over to the new orphanage that had been in the temporary house that had been lent to us for a little more than a year. It was a
lot of work, but it was very rewarding to finally see this day arrive. From the very first day we could see how the children began to progress more
quickly in the different areas of development. Read more
CUENCA & QUITO CHRISTMAS NEWS
In both cities, many plans were put into effect by our volunteers,
directors and donors to make Christmas be a special experience for the children in the orphanages. Everyone had a great time and shared a Christmas

I am writing this story to keep a promise, a Christmas promise to a little brown-eyed girl in
an orphanage who no longer believes in Papa Noel. But she believes in her dad and she believes in me, and I would give anything in the world not to
