Come join us for the DUMBO Arts Festival

Friday, September 28, 7pm

You're invited to an open house at the DUMBO store.  Join us for some light refreshments and catch up with friends.  We will have youth art work on display as well as a decorated bicycle from the upcoming Kids Art Bike Ride for the Lower Eastside.

Saturday, September 29, 12-7pm

Taliah Lempert is an artist with a passion for painting bicycles.  On Saturday only she will be at Recycle-A-Bicycle in DUMBO with small paintings, prints, cards, t-shirts and coloring books all featuring the noblest invention.

Art Bike For Sale

Available now at our DUMBO store.  Picured here, the bicycle is a 21" Specialized single speed MTB with a funky paint job,  Mavic rims, Suntour High Flange front hub, Paul 1 Spd rear hub, STX cartridge headset, Deore LX cranks, Brooks B66 saddle, Nitto Albatross bars, Nitto stem, Dia Compe MK2 brake levers, Jandd rear rack and Planet Bike full fenders.

In honor of the Bicycle Film Festival this year, PUMA sponsored a challenge to some leading magazines.  Each team had a budget of $200 and had to use recycled parts to make a bicycle that depicted their magazine's personality.  Perhaps you had the chance to check out the bicycles on display in New York City during the Bicycle Film Festival.  Well, they are now available for auction on E-Bay!  All proceeds will be donated to youth bicycle charities in each of the North American cities from the film tour. Recycle-A-Bicycle will benefit!  Click here to learn more, see the bikes and place your bid!

The 25-minute parade route leads through the historic neighborhood, beginning and ending in Tompkins Square Park.
