There is a season of change taking place at Franklin Springs Family Media.

In a culture that has a great need for media that shares the blessing and strength of family life, at Franklin Springs we hope to fill this need as we continue to grow a resource of encouragement for Christian families.

The start of the glorious autumn season is fast approaching and we are ready for changing leaves, the roar of chainsaws, bonfires, children in flannel shirts, and walks through the colorful woods. We are eager for this change of seasons, just as we welcome the seasons of growth happening at Franklin Springs Family media...

First, we are grateful to the Lord for allowing us continued growth with a talented addition to our staff. We are very happy to welcome Mark Stubblefield aboard as our recently hired General Manager. Mark’s commitment to help build a God-honoring company that provides family-enriching media is a great source of encouragement. Welcome Mark! We look forward to watching our company blossom as the Lord continues to provide us with the people that we need.

New Films on the Horizon

Second, we are very happy to be working on four new DVDs.
In the months ahead, we will be releasing:

The Eden String Quartet
A musical celebration of God-honoring family life, the joy of music in the home, and the story of a family with a commitment for using their talents and abilities for the glory of the Lord.

Stonewall Jackson: His Fight Before the War (working title)
A documentary based on the newly released book by Richard Williams. Exploring the life of this often talked about leader, and his not often talked about pre-war commitment and friendship with Southern slaves — a relationship that has resulted in generational impact for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Inherit the Land
Examining the rewards of the growing movement toward agrarian lifestyles and the benefits that families can gain from farming endeavors large and small.

Make Me a Movie (working title)
A how-to guide for emerging filmmakers with a desire to learn the art and craft of film-making from experienced professional film makers.

These four new DVD titles will be available soon through the Franklin Springs Family Media website. We have numerous films slated for production in 2007, and we look forward to our continued goal of providing your family with God honoring films. Third, we are very pleased to have unveiled our new web environment. We hope it is a blessing to you as you get to know our company: www.franklinsprings.com. We look forward to adding many improvements and additions to the website in the months to come.
