June 2008's special offer fits right into to our theme of removing obstacles, rebalancing ourselves and reconnecting with what's most important in our lives.  Our Three "R"s Bundle combines our Ganesh puzzle, Chakras puzzle and Shri Yantra puzzle to help us do all three.  When looking at our astrological forecast for June, we see it's the perfect time to do all three!

Ganesh is the elephant-headed God in Hinduism known as the "Remover of Obstacles".  He is a symbol of determination and devotion in the face of seemingly unsurmountable odds.  He reminds us to be creative and tap into our inner wisdom in order to overcome life's obstacles and to never give up.  Meditating on Ganesh is a powerful way to strip away our perceived blockages and open ourselves up for success.

Chakras are energy centers found throughout the body responsible for the condition of our mind, body and spirit.  If a chakra is imbalanced, it can affect our health on all levels.  Meditating on balanced chakras can actually rebalance our chakras, bringing health back to all levels.

Shri Yantra.  Yantras are "visual mantras" used in Yantra meditation.  They represent the energy of a specific deity and allow one to connect deeply with that energy pattern, thus allowing that deitys qualities to merge with one's own.  Meditating on the Shri Yantra allows one to reconnect with the Mother Goddess who provides many powers and acheivements.

Sold seperately these beautiful and unique healing jigsaw puzzles would cost $75.00.  With our limited time Three "R"s Bundle you get 3 puzzles for the price of 2!  Keep them all, or give them as gifts.  Either way, you won't want to miss this great offer.

Monthly Recipe - Lemon Aid!

Drink this... it will make you feel better!

In keeping with our theme, this months recipe helps us cleanse and "Remove Obstacles".

This months recipe came to me at a time when I was feeling like I needed to do some spring cleaning, not just in my house, but in my body.  We all indulge in foods that aren't good for us and even organic foods contain things that our bodies don't need.  Toxins built up in our bodies can act as a real obstacle in our journey towards health.

You may recognize this recipe from the Lemon Aid Diet, however, I didn't use it as a diet at all, rather as a way to clean out the gunk and start over fresh.  I did my "cleanse" over a period of two days, limiting my food intake to a small dinner of clean food (brown rice, protein and vegetable).  After just two days I experienced the following benefits:

~ Increased Energy

~ Clearer Complexion

~ Reduced Water Retention

~ A "Clean" Feeling Inside

And probably better than anything else, I actually gravitated towards foods that were better for me during this period of time.

I love this little drink (it tastes great) and try to work it into a daily routine whenever I can.  It's a great way to keep those obstacles from building up in the first place.

Here's to your health!  Lemon Aid Cleanse:

2 tbs Organic Lemon Juice

2 tbs Grade B Organic Maple Syrup

1/6 tsp Organic Cayenne Pepper

8 oz. Distilled or Reverse Osmosis Water

For Daily Cleansing Support: Drink one glass in the morning every day

For A 2 day "Spring Cleaning": Drink 8-10 glasses a day and whenever hungry, with a sensible dinner in the evening of "clean" foods.

Important things to note: Only do the "Spring Cleaning" for as long as you feel comfortable.  Follow your body's cues and your own instincts.  It is our humble opinion that the "diet" version of this is too long and has the potential to throw the body too far out of balance.

This recipe came to me from The Weekly Beet as originally excerpted from The Lemon Aid Diet.

Miracle Bend Rebalancing Pose

Miracle Bend Yoga Pose for Rebalancing

Balance is the key to health on all levels.  This month we focus on an easy to do yoga pose for balance.

This pose is great for rebalancing, finding our center, dealing with strong emotions and releasing depression.  It's simple enough that it can be done at home or even in the office when we need to come back to center and find inner peace.

 1. Stand with your heels together and your toes angled outward for balance. Bring your arms straight out in front of you, with the hands close together and fingers straightened. The thumbs may be crossed over each other.

2. Begin to inhale deeply as you raise your extended arms upward and backward in a smooth, flowing motion. Your head and upper body follow your arms, so that your arms, head, and upper body form an unbroken curve, lifted upward and backward as far as possible. Use your breath and awareness to release tension in the upper back and neck. Breathe deeply and slowly as you hold the position for 1-2 minutes.

3. Exhale deeply and begin to slowly straighten your body and smoothly bend it forward to your maximum capacity. Take 30-45 seconds to come fully forward. Keep your arms and head moving together in an unbroken line. Then inhale, retain the breath within the rib cage, and for as long as possible begin to pump your navel, pressing it in toward your spine and releasing. Continue until you have to exhale, then do the same on the held exhalation. Inhale and continue this pumping pattern on the held inhalation and exhalation for 2 minutes.

4. Come out of the pose by rolling upward at an unhurried pace while inhaling slowly and deeply. Uncurl one vertebra at a time in a slow, fluid motion.

This pose was excerpted from Yoga for Women by Shakta Kaur Khalsa.  But guys, it works the same no matter what your gender.

Inner Alchemy Inner Healer

Inner Alchemy CDs for Reconnecting

We all have a wise healer within us, but sometimes we can't hear that wise part of us.  Here's a great way to reconnect with our inner healer.

Now that we've removed anything getting in our way of health, and rebalanced ourselves to a centered place of peace, we're ready to reconnect with that wise inner being that helps guide us through this puzzle of life.

I got a sampler CD of Inner Alchemy ~ Inner Healer and did the first meditation on the CD.  It is unique in that it includes tones and sounds that create a very deep meditation and relaxation.  I've done many guided meditations before, but there's definitely something done right on this CD because it was very easy for me to relax and come into a trance-like state of meditation.

And things in my life changed dramatically in the weeks following my first listening.  Money started flowing, relationships became easier.  I don't claim to say that it was all this CD, but the combination of removing obstacles, rebalancing myself and then reconnecting with that wise inner voice really had a huge, positive impact.

June Power Peek

June 2008 Outlook

What's in the stars for us for June?  Let's find out!

Courtesy of Mark's Power Peek at www.12house.com

In general, this week holds a sweet tone to it with hardly a tough aspect between planets occuring. That's hardly a full on green light to just act without thought. On the contrary, it's a reminder to listen even more closely to what's happening on the inside of you. Saturday brings Mercury and the Sun together, symolizing the end of the confusing part of the Mercury retrograde, so if you're having a tough time, lightness is on the way.

Some things to be aware of during this cycle:

1. If you're obsessed about something, you are probably trying hard not to look at something else more related to the truth.

2. If your mind is racing, you've probably become aware that there is a feeling in you that wants to be felt and you're doing everything in your power to distract yourself from just feeling it.

3. If you're stuck in a state of unmotivated depression you probably are doing everything you can to avoid listening to yourself.

4. The 'real' answer has no anxiety attached to it.

5. If you're thinking the "worst case scenario" be compassionately understanding, then try to rethink.

6. Answer this question throughout your day:

"Am I extending love or fear?"
