Move Over Valentine’s Day Because…
Are you thinking that you need to get ready for Valentine’s Day? We want to encourage you to spread out
“the love” festivities by joining us in celebrating National Marriage Week, Feb.
8-17th! We will be celebrating, honoring and encouraging marriage by handing out free Love Letter Kits
throughout our six key counties. Kits will also be available to anyone who requests one from our website. What began as a seed of an idea in a simple paper bag last year has evolved into a beautifully designed
kit complete with enough stationary and envelopes for two letters and tips on how to write to your loved one. Sticking with our
popular illustrated thinkmarriage style, the kits are going to be a big hit…so
don’t wait to get yours! Then, (and this is going to be so much fun), visit our blog to tell us what happened when you sent your love

Out and About in the Communities
It’s Bridal Fair season…our next newsletter will have some stories about the
great reactions we have been getting in the various communities encouraging couples to work not just on the wedding, but the
marriage.
Outagamie County Director Donna Schmitz and Community Program Director Andra Siedsma will be speakers at the
upcoming Second Annual Women Leaders in Wisconsin Conference being held Feb. 12th from 9-4 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.

Here we Grow again!
We’d like to welcome two new positions to the thinkmarriage/Foundation for a Great Marriage staff!
Jami Kaiser is the new Marathon County Director. A married Mom with two children, Addison age 2 and Brice 8
weeks, Jami brings a wealth of experience as a Certified Family Life Educator and her most recent position with AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin.
Along with her B.S. in Health Promotion and Human Development she brings a great enthusiasm to see healthy relationships and marriages in Marathon
County!
Paula Reif joins us as our Evaluator. Paula will be helping us to be the best we can be by studying the
effectiveness of our programs. Participant questionnaires and public impact surveys will be some of things she digs into for us, casting a
professional eye over the numbers. Paula is married with two children ages 14 and 10. She has her undergrad degree in Human Development and
Interdisciplinary Studies and her Masters in Human Services, Family Life Education. Stay tuned to start hearing about the interesting things she
discovers.
