CA Students "Lead" During the Holidays
In December, BwB Lead team members in the San Francisco Bay Area served as "ice
skating mentors" to children with special needs as they enjoyed this fun holiday tradition. These eleven teenagers, all part of
BwB's intense year-long leadership program, helped more than 200 families during one

RSI Helps Build Schools in Malawi
In 2007, Religious Science International (RSI)
raised enough funds to build three BwB schools in Malawi as well as fund two adult literacy programs. During the summer, a group of RSI youth and
advisors traveled to Malawi to help build one of the schools. In 2008, they've set their sights on
funding at least five more schools in the Kunungu district and will return again to help build over the summer. Read

MI Trek Team Prepares for Nicaragua
Dozens of BwB students across the U.S. are preparing for their Trek for Knowledge. Members will help villagers build
schools in Mali, Nicaragua and, for the first time with BwB, Malawi. They will live with host families for nearly two weeks, working at the
