On the Road

This year my springtime tour took me down South and I've recently returned from shows in Northampton, MA and Pittsburgh, PA. Thank you to everyone who visited me and helped me

to have fun, successful shows. It's been a great spring season.

 

My summer show season kicks off with a couple Chicago area shows. This weekend

June 16 + 17 I'll be in Evanston at Custer's Last Stand (come wish me a happy birthday on Sunday!), and then at the Highland Park Festival of Fine Craft the following weekend, June 23 + 24 for the first time. These are my only Chicago area art fairs this summer aside from Batavia's Art In Your Eye in August, so come on out to see what's new.

 

In July I'll be returning to Madison, WI for Artfair on the Square and then to Ann Arbor, MI for the State Street Area Art Festival. I hope to see you there!

Just a quick tip... if there's ever something from my website that you want to see in person at a show, drop me an email. I can't always have all pieces available, so I'm open to suggestions of what you'd like to see.

 

The Big News

My book "Elegant Wire Jewelry" has arrived! Customers in Northampton and Pittsburgh were the first to see it. I will have copies available at shows, and my official book release party will be held the evening of Friday, June 29 at Gem, 1710 N. Damen in Chicago. I'll post details on my website as soon as times are set. Please save the date to come have a toast with me if you are in the area. Books will be available for sale (and signing if desired), and a special trunk show featuring pieces from the book will be held through Saturday, June 30.

Heads Up

Have you noticed the growing list of galleries on my website? Well, they are getting crammed onto one tiny page. This has prompted a website redesign... coming in late summer. There will be more space for galleries with live links, an updated and expanded catalog, as well as more info about me and the studio. I'll let you know when it's live!
