Work-life balance: It's an individual choice By LeShane Greenhill
What is this thing called "work-life balance?" We've all heard about it, either
through lecture or casual conversations with friends. Some of you reading this may currently struggle with it.
I will not attempt to tell you
what is best for you; however, my goal is to shed some light on how it can be achieved from an individual point of view.
First, let's consider
what it is not. Work-life balance is not a perfect blend of everything with which you are involved. Attempting to divide your time and attention
equally with all facets of life is a recipe for unhappy living.
There is no "one size fits all" when determining work-life balance.

The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the 20/20 Leadership Alliance are proud to recognize 13 young
professionals who are excelling in their careers and making a difference in the Nashville community. Thirteen individual winners were named from a
group of 39 finalists at an awards ceremony on July 31.

What's new in Nashville?
New
coffee shop Church Street Coffee House, 708 Church Street, 493-9089. This new coffee shop serves Starbucks coffee products. Pastries are
also available, and the shop plans to introduce breakfast and lunch menus soon. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; and
Sunday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
New food court Peabody
Corner Marketplace, 19 Peabody Street, 736-5400. This new food court currently has five restaurants. Apollo's Grill serves burgers,
fries, and wraps; Blue Nile Cafe serves coffee and dessert; Hunt Brothers serves pizza, buffalo wings and bread sticks; Quizno's serves subs, soups
and salads; and Sushi Q serves sushi, teriyaki and udon bowls. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Boscos now open in Cool
Springs Boscos has opened a second
location in historic Franklin. Guests can choose from chef-created daily specials, appetizers, salads, entrees and gourmet pizzas baked in a brick
oven. The restaurant offers a variety of award-winning, handcrafted beers, including internationally recognized Famous Flaming Stone, Boscos Brown
