Sales (FMS) - to Redstone Arsenal and to Huntsville as part of BRAC. Mr. Rick Alpaugh will discuss USASAC's goals, its global mission, and its
impact
on
North Alabama. USASAC interacts with foreign Armies, Air Forces, and Navies on providing Army materiel and equipment and leverages FMS to help the
U.S. Army. Mr. Alpaugh will highlight how critical it is that we succeed in training and equipping foreign forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and how we

Security
Assistance & FMS Acquisitions will highlight the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command's (AMCOM) involvement
in Security Assistance through Foreign Military Sales. This briefing to the business community will provide AMCOM's Security Assistance role/function through Foreign Military Sales as it supports the U.S.
National Security Interest and our
allies. SAMD's mission is to plan, direct, supervise, manage, and perform all Security Assistance activities for assigned FMS programs and systems
on behalf of the Commander of AMCOM.
Their vision is to provide World-Class support to Security Assistance Customers and Allies through providing Foreign Military Sales equipment within
cost, schedule, and performance. Aerospace/defense contractors are encouraged to attend.

Pope-Kelly, Director of the AMCOM Security
Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), will lead the briefing, and Mary Birdsong, Small Business Specialist with the AMCOM Office of Small
Business Programs, will discuss "How to Do Business with AMCOM."
