Flickr Helps Users Get Paid
A new deal between photo-sharing website Flickr and Getty Images will see some Flickr users getting paid for their pictures. Getty will have a dedicated staff to browse through Flickr user profiles for interesting shots they might want to license for newspapers, magazines, and more. When they find one they like, they’ll pitch the user on licensing the shot. Read more about it here.
Nashvillians Upset About Google Street View
Some folks in Nashville aren’t too pleased that Google’s Street View map feature is now enabled for Music City. Citing privacy concerns, they’re bothered by the fact that their car or house can now easily be seen by anyone in the world with an internet connection. Spammer Faces 30 Months In Jail
You’ve gotta love a good spammer-gets-caught story. A Brooklyn Man is headed to prison for 30 months after he was found guilty of sending 1.2 Million Spam emails to AOL users. Good.
