Winter is a critical time for blood and platelet collections because regular donors become busy with holiday schedules, or have a difficult time getting to the donor center due to inclement weather or illness. The need is constant though, and you can help reduce shortages by donating blood at the BWH Blood Donor Center or platelets at the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center. Learn more
