for a clinical trial to participate in. As always, be sure to discuss your options
with your healthcare team.

privately supported clinical research. ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information
about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for
more details. Visit ClinicalTrials.gov.

patients. You can use this listing to search for clinical trials by therapeutic
area and geographic region. Visit Center Watch online.

Opportunities to Participate in Research Impacting Breast Cancer
Survey Studying Support Issues & Breast Cancer.
A Purdue graduate student has asked Y-ME Illinois to alert breast cancer survivors about
an opportunity to help healthcare professionals better understand coping mechanisms
and support issues surrounding breast cancer. Born out of the personal experiences
of the researcher and her grandmother, who lost her battle to breast cancer in
2001, the study focuses on spirituality among those facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
NCI Breast Cancer Study
The National Cancer Institute and the National Naval Medical Center are conducting
a study to determine what factors make some women more susceptible to developing
breast cancer. Information obtained from this study may help in developing methods
of identifying women who are at risk. Women 18 years old or older, with or without
a history of breast cancer, may participate in this study. There is no cost for
participating.
