SEIFC Announces CORE Recruitment Program,
Facilitators
The Southeastern Interfraternity Conference is pleased to announce its CORE
Recruitment program and facilitators for the 2008 SEIFC Leadership Academy, being held February 14-17, 2008 in Atlanta.
The curriculum, developed in conjunction with Phired Up Productions, will focus on a skills-based training that council
recruitment chairs will be able to replicate on their respective campuses. By allowing students to discuss various recruitment
strategies and ideas, it will help council recruitment chairs move their recruitment structure from static to dynamic. Highlights of the
curriculum include managing and cultivating leads, developing strategic parnterships, and implementing a values-based selection and bid
process.
“We are thrilled to have developed this partnership with Phired Up
Productions,” said Victor Felts, SEIFC Executive Director. “We have put together a cutting edge program that council
recruitment chairs will be able to take back to their campuses, and we have recruited an all-star team to facilitate the program.”
Council recruitment directors will spend the first two sessions in a large group
discussing the various components of the Dynamic Recruitment system. They will follow these conversations up with small
group sessions based on institutional type and size and aimed at the implementation of the Dynamic Recruitment program on
their campuses.
