CELEBRATE NATIONAL FRESH BREATH DAY - August 6th
Oral Fixation Mints are sugar-free, but do you know why? When you pop a
curiously sugar-based mint you're actually adding to the problem. Sure, the taste may kill your wonky breath temporarily, but you're
feeding the 600 different types of bacteria that live in your mouth and don't be surprised if you need another mint moments later.
Folks report that they pop our mints for different reasons. Cause they taste
good!
Most of our mints are sugar free because it gives them a cooler, more refreshing flavor, and also because in our on going goal to make
conversations with close-talkers and smooches on second dates more enjoyable, we've deemed it counterintuitive to contribute to halitosis.
In honor of National Fresh Breath Day
coming up this Monday, August 6th we've dedicated our most minimalist flavor, Spare Mint, to the celebration of Fresh
Breath! Order yours here in honor of your new favorite
holiday.

| What we're reading |
Sure there's plenty of blogs to choose from. But where do you start? On
most days, the answer is www.englishrussia.com because, as the site
professes, "something cool happens daily on 1/6 of the Earth's surface." And ain't it the truth! With plenty of interesting and funny posts,
English Russia is certainly worth a peek and subscription.
Since Oral Fixation Mints are now available in Moscow and St. Petersburg don't be
surprised if you see Glazastik eyeing up some Caffeinated
Chai Night Light.

| What we're listening to |
Who said you couldn't wear 19th century bullfighting costumes in 2007? Not Carlos D.
from Interpol. The New York darlings' new album has been heavily
anticipated around our office for quite some time. And Our Love To Admire doesn't disappoint.
Adding epic horns and
strings to their tried and true post-punk licks and Paul Bank's affected vocals, Interpol hits their mark like true toreadors.

| What we're watching |
As much as we didn't expect to be saying this, we can all agree that the best summer
blockbuster this year, hands down is Transformers, though we're not sure why. Maybe we had every figure in the 80's and loved the show.
Maybe seeing robots destroy buildings as a byproduct of wrestling other robots is cool. While the debate continues, there is no room for doubt
that Michael
Bay's Transformers is the movie of the
season.

| Where we're going |
| At the Sun's Origin, Henry is spending this week at the Special Coffee Association of Japan's
international convention. Hopefully, in between bites of katsuo, khada and saba miso, he can pop into a United Arrows store for a refreshing Mojito

|
|
| What we're eating |
| Come to think of it, Henry shouldn't be the only one drinking sake this weekend. We're
heading to Decibel, the East Village sake speakeasy that as underground as
you get. A veritable shrine to rice wine, the atmosphere is as good as the drink. |
