Yes, we know January seems a long way away, but before you can say Kris Kringle, the
old guy’s sleigh will have left, along with the in-laws, kids heading back to college, holiday wrappings, the last of the leftover turkey and
the fruit cake that’s been passed along for generations. The winter doldrums will have set in, and you are so going to need a
great night out! So, it’s The Three Tomatoes to the rescue with our best event ever, so make your reservations
now. Here are the details:
Eat, drink, and be merry for absolutely no good reason at
all.
Date: January 17, 2008
Time: 6 to 9 PM (followed by VIP after-party for
those who purchase VIP Tickets.
Place: The Broadway Comedy Club
318 West 53rd Street
(bet. 8th & 9th Ave.) NYC
Food and libations: We will have a fabulous
sandwich bar catered by the world famous Carnegie Deli, including the best pastrami anywhere, and their signature cheese cake. Plus, unlimited
wine, beer, and a special 3T martini ( but of course.)
Entertainment: Media personality Valerie
Smaldone a six time Billboard Magazine Award
winner, and mid-day host of 106.7 Lite-FM will host our event which will feature three fabulous comedians:
- The Mad Fashionista diva (aka actress, comedian Elisa DeCarlo) will be there, live and in person, to
share some of her outrageous, over-the-top (and tres funny) adventures.
- And laugh even more with two comics handpicked just for us, by the Broadway Comedy Club, whose
comics have appeared on Letterman, The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Conan O'Brien, HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central,
and/or BET.
Help a good cause: We will hold a raffle and a
silent auction to benefit The ComedyCures
Foundation. ComedyCures® is a national non-profit organization bringing joy, laughter, hope and therapeutic comedy programs to
kids & grown-ups living with illness, depression, trauma and disabilities. 100% of the raffle and silent auction proceeds will be donated to
this terrific organization along with $5.00 from the sale of each VIP Tickets.

Our event host, Valerie Smaldone , radio personality, voice-over artist, writer, actress and
producer is a 6 time Billboard Magazine Award winner and is perhaps best known for her unprecedented success holding the #1 position in the New York
radio market as the midday host of New York’s 106.7 FM. ****************** Our comedy show emcee is Elisa DeCarlo, THE MAD FASHIONISTA, the
second-most feared woman in fashion (after Anna Wintour, her personal idol). She is a plus-size New York City diva whose religion is couture
and whose nightmare is Forever 21. She has been interviewed by Joey Reynolds and Valerie Smaldone, and writes the popular blog, "Diary of a Mad Fashionista." She has an annoying doppelganger
with the same name who has performed at comedy clubs, colleges and theaters all over the tri-state area, but the Fashionista would rather you didn't
know that. Please address her as "Miss DeCarlo" or you will get hurt.
