It's Friday night and it's pouring down rain on the zinc roof of our house as I write. So much water has brought
many problems to this continent, but to me this rainy
season
has been one to remind me to be grateful. A long week without running water (due to a
burnt fuse at the pump) recently made me realize we've come a long way since we first moved to here. The children were absolutely undisturbed by it
and I was able to give thanks to our Father for what He has allowed us to accomplish and witness so far.

Prayer Requests:
We ask for your prayers for all four of us as we adjust to the
way of life in the US after over two years of being in Ghana.
Pray for the ministries of mercy, evangelism, love,
discipleship, and construction at the clinic while we are away.
Pray for Dr. Olukoya Emmanuel, a short term missionary physician that is may be coming as an unpaid volunteer
from Nigeria to serve for 3-6 months while we are way.

"Yaw is dead, doctor. He died while still in the boat, almost to the other side of the lake."
"Did you bring the body back" I asked naively to the man who was driving the boat that day, not expecting the
answer that I heard.

Our truck (4x4 Nissan Patrol) was in an accident, no injuries, but it was
taken out of commission for six months - we got it back this past week! Praise God with us for this relief.
During this time we have
truly seen the need for a purchase of a 4x4 ambulance/truck for the clinic ministries ($30,000, $2400 has been given towards this so
far).

We are grateful to our
colleagues, The Mozley's, that
shared their van
with us this whole time. It was a blessing to our family and to many
patients that needed transportation (including AIDS & TB
patients, on their way to the district VCT Clinic, and many more).

The ministry at the clinic has been strengthened by pray-ers all over the world and in return we have been
able to see the staff unified, serving in love and trusting the Lord for miracles and deliverance. We have grown together through many challenges,
trusting in His victory. Thank you for making it possible.

As we come into 6 months of traveling in the US would you consider
an alternate way to
support us in ministry?
It's cool to give hotel rewards, airmiles, and gift certificates, they
could help us make ministry money go lots further.
