Reserve your place for our Italian wine dinner at
City
House restaurant! It's a first for both of us, and we couldn't be more psyched
about the venue, the wines, and of course, the food. Not your standard pasta-and-red-sauce-plus-chianti type affair, we'll be focusing on the food
and wine of the Friuli region, in Italy's Northeast. The dinner will consist of three courses, each with various components and paired wines (6 total
+ a grappa shot!). We hope you'll join us!
First Course (served with Fantinel Prosecco, Borgo M Tocai, and
Movia Ribolla)
-- Jota: traditional soup of Friuli
-- House cured ham, horseradish, local greens
-- Montasio cheese, potato, onion frico
Second Course (served with Vespa Bianco, Brandolini Refosco, and
Brandolini Vistorta)
-- Anson Mills polenta, braised rabbit
-- Potato gnocchi, speck, parsley, brown butter
-- Warm salad of smoked trout
Third Course (served with grappa)
