RED HAT DAY
PLANNED FOR 2008
The Iowa State Fair will celebrate the Red Hat Society on its
opening day, August 7, 2008. Don your red hat and purple outfit and join us at the Iowa State Fair for a day of fun and frivolity.
Bring your chapter and enjoy all the fun-filled Fair activities
and meet Red Hatters from all over the Midwest. In addition to the endless activities included with admission, there will be the
first ever Red Hat contest in Pioneer Hall and a chance to meet and mingle with other members in the Fair’s Family Theaters.

There are thousands of things to love about the Iowa State Fair.
This year Iowans can express their love for the Fair on their tax returns. Look for the State Fairgrounds Renovation Checkoff on line 58b
of Iowa Tax Form 1040 or on line 14 of Iowa Tax Form 1040A and check off $1 (or more) to help preserve the historic Iowa State Fairgrounds. Your gift
is either deducted from your refund or added to the amount due. Contributions to the Corndog Checkoff are fully tax-deductible.
