CEO's Corner

I recently spent an evening reading the posts in our consultant chat area, where our consultants post topics about anything from successful parties to updates about friends and family members.  It’s a great forum that provides support for our people and allows them to communicate from coast to coast.  It’s always fun to place names with faces when our annual convention comes around each summer — you finally get to meet “Sally” who has helped everyone with a certain topic on the chat area.

I came across a recent post about our upcoming annual convention incentive trip that we are offering, and comments from those who really wanted to win the all-inclusive trip to Denver including a trip to Cancun. There is a certain “I can” attitude from those who are working toward this incentive and who very much believe they can win it.  This is such a prime example of the role that attitude plays in our lives.

What you believe is what you will achieve.

What makes one person believe in herself that “I can do this” and another think that it is “impossible”?  I find it so interesting.  I think a big factor has to do with just getting a taste of success.  Once you become successful even in one small area, you realize there is no reason that it can’t be done again. You did it once. You can duplicate it and usually you become better at it. The second and third times are even more successful.

Attitude is everything!

There is nothing more admirable than someone giving their all toward something that they really want.  I wish the best to those of you striving for this top prize.  No matter what, a positive person is ultimately a successful person!
