Have we got a deal or two for you?

A couple of months ago, The Three
Tomatoes were contacted by a nice guy from a shoe company, who was interested in marketing their line of cool
casual shoes to The Three
Tomatoes' readers. So while we were impressed that a savvy marketer clearly recognized the value of marketing cool
products to women who might be slightly north of 40, we explained that we do not currently accept paid advertising in our weekly emails or on our web
site; and the products we promote are products we've actually used and liked, or in some cases, used and didn't like. To which savvy, smart
marketing guy said, "Well why don't I send you some shoes to try out and if you like them then I'll offer The Three
Tomatoes a special discount"? So how could we say no to free shoes and a discount for all our tomato

The smart savvy marketing company is Royal Elastics (owned by

making their way into top tier department stores like Nordstroms and Saks. The shoes are comfortable, fairly easy to slip on and off, made of

We tried out the two styles featured in the sidebar. We love the lime green and
pink pair, kind of an urban preppy look and the white and
chocolate slip ons can be worn with just about any casual look.
