Amazon’s Song Download Service Gaining Ground on iTunes
Its tracks, most of which sell for 89 to 99 cents, have higher sound quality than standard iTunes tracks. Amazon’s music downloads also come without copy restrictions - known as digital rights management - that make it difficult to move tracks to a variety of portable devices, including iPods and Windows Media players. Microsoft Study Shows Targeted Attacks on the Rise
Scams designed to steal identities, data and ultimately money from Internet users continued to rise steeply in the first half of this year, according to a report released on Tuesday by Microsoft.
