The Navy Suit

When I start working with a new client, the first suit I recommend for their wardrobe is a navy suit. The reason for this is your navy suit is the most versatile suit in your wardrobe. Dress it up or dress it down it is appropriate anywhere.

One of my favorite clients calls his navy suit his "boardroom suit". That is a great description. When you are meeting with your most important client or making a presentation, the navy suit will give you the look of authority that you want to convey. Coupled with a blue ground white collar and white French cuff dress shirt, a bright power tie, and a white pocket square, you will be appropriately dressed for your most important meetings.

When you are ready to relax, your navy suit can be dressed down with an open collar or button down patterned shirt. With all it's flexibility the navy suit is the foundation of any well dressed man's wardrobe.
