CELEBRATE THE POWER OF
WOMEN CONNECTING GLOBALLY

at the Women's Fund Annual Luncheon, Power of the Purse: Part II

This year's luncheon is an international event!

Keynote speaker Ritu Sharma Fox is a leader on international women’s issues and U.S. foreign policy and the co-founder and president of Women Thrive Worldwide. Women's Fund will host a press conference in support of the Growth Act, an innovative piece of legislation, co-sponsored by Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL-18th). The Growth Act would make U.S. development assistance more effective in addressing poverty by promoting economic opportunities for women and their families worldwide.

In cooperation with the Fair Trade Federation, there will be a "Global Marketplace" where guests will bid on baskets, jewelry and art made by women from all over the world. Don't worry, we'll still have an amazing designer purse silent auction, and it is even better than last year (sneak a peak at the purses online)!

Attend the luncheon to learn more about our collective power to create social change for women and their families in Miami-Dade and around the world.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR LUNCHEON

Be a part of Power of the Purse: Part II! Women's Fund is seeking volunteers to help out the week of the luncheon. We especially need volunteers on Thursday, April 17 and on Friday, April 18th (at the luncheon).

Contact Women's Fund Associate Director, Fran Katz at fran@womensfundmiami.org for a detailed schedule and volunteer responsibilities.
